What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
When you reach your plan's video limit:
- You can't parse new videos until next month
- All existing summaries remain accessible
- You can upgrade to continue parsing immediately
Do unused videos roll over to next month?
No, video quotas reset monthly and don't accumulate. However, all your parsed videos and summaries are saved permanently.
Is there a student discount?
Yes! Students get 50% off any paid plan. Contact support@yourdomain.com with your student email for a discount code.
Video Parsing
How long does parsing take?
Typically:
- Short videos (< 5 min): 10-20 seconds
- Medium videos (5-30 min): 20-60 seconds
- Long videos (30+ min): 1-3 minutes
Processing time depends on video length and current server load.
Can I parse private or unlisted videos?
No, we can only parse publicly accessible videos. This is because:
- We access videos the same way you do in a browser
- Private videos require authentication we don't have
- Unlisted videos need the exact link (which you can provide, and they will work)
What languages are supported?
Video Languages (input):
- English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and 50+ more
- Auto-detected from video
Summary Languages (output):
- English
- Chinese (Simplified)

Why did my video fail to parse?
Common reasons:
- Video is private or deleted: Check if it's still accessible
- No audio/captions: Video needs spoken content or subtitles
- Platform not supported: Check our supported platforms list
- Copyright restrictions: Some content blocks automated access
- Network error: Try again in a few minutes
Check the error message in Parse Records for specific details.
Can I re-parse a video?
Yes! Open any record and click "Re-parse" to:
- Use updated AI prompts
- Get a fresh transcript
- Fix errors from initial parsing
Your monthly quota will be used for re-parsing.
Notion Integration
How does Notion integration work?
Premium users can automatically sync video summaries to Notion:
- Connect your Notion workspace
- Select or create a database
- Every parsed video creates a Notion page
- Pages include summary, timestamps, transcript
Do I need a Notion account?
Yes, you need a Notion account to use the integration. Notion has a free plan that works perfectly with our service.
Can I customize what gets synced to Notion?
Currently, we sync a standard format:
- Video metadata (title, URL, platform, duration)
- Summary
- Key points
- Timestamps
- Full transcript
You can customize Notion pages after sync by adding your own properties and content.
What if I disconnect Notion?
Disconnecting Notion:
- Stops future videos from syncing
- Doesn't delete existing Notion pages
- Doesn't affect your parse history in our app
- Can be reconnected anytime
Can I sync old videos to Notion?
Yes! Go to Parse Records, open any video, and click "Sync to Notion" - even videos parsed before connecting Notion.
AI & Summaries
How accurate are the AI summaries?
Our AI summaries are typically 85-95% accurate. Accuracy depends on:
- Audio quality of the video
- Clarity of speech
- Technical jargon (can be improved with custom prompts)
- Language and accent
Can I customize how AI summarizes videos?
Yes! Use the AI Prompts feature to:
- Change summary style and tone
- Focus on specific information
- Adjust detail level
- Create prompts for different video types

Can I download my data?
